An early TV Front Vox G1/10 Amplifier
Late 1958 / early 1959
This for the time being is principally a picture page, illustrating one of the earliest TV Front G1/10 amplifiers made. The single channel 10 watt G1/10 amplifier was produced and stocked by Jennings from 1957 until as late as 1962 and issued in three different iterations of cabinet. The lower chassis here is effectively a G1/10 chassis from the earlier 'Univox-style' cabinet iteration, the holes for the rear-facing controls now unused, and controls remoted via coax "flying leads" to an early-form control panel placed in an island cutout at top.
