Price of AC30 Twins (1960-1962)

A guinea is £1 and 1 shilling. There are 20 shillings in a pound. In terms of price increases, the most striking is that of the AC30/6 - from 89 guineas in December 1960 to 105 guineas in March 1961. At the same time the price of the AC30/4 also went up. Was this increase due to the introduction of Celestion blue speakers in the two models? Or perhaps simply the result of an increase in the cost of other components?
It is interesting to note that the substantial changes to the AC30/6's circuit of early May 1961 (as indicated and dated on the circuit diagram) do not quite correspond to the change in price.
The AC30/6 Normal remained at 105 guineas from March 1961 through to Septmeber 1961, its price reduced at that point to coax buyers away from the AC30/4 which was in the process of being withdrawn.
For some months - November and December 1961 for instance - no published prices have so far come to light.
