Vox AC30 Super Reverb Twin serial number 8067N

Ready for sale in the third quarter of 1963

Complete with its covers, probably ready for sale not far in time from , another early Super Reverb Twin. Exported to Norway early on, the importing agent being Schlagerforlaget, Oslo.

Chassis assembled for JMI by Westrex; Albion transformers. In the preamp, red-print WIMA signal capacitors, and gold-coloured TCC electrolytics with the date code "UB" = February 1963 for their manufacture.

The cabinets of both sections are covered in a finely textured smooth dark grey vinyl, the speaker cab signed off by "GH" - . Its XLR socket is an Italian-made Geloso. Covers are of heavy olive green vinyl.

The designation "N" for "Normal" on the serial number plate was standard for SRTs through to the introduction of plates with longer panels (after which "ST/R" or "SR" was normally stamped).
